On Monday, August 12, 2019, Jennifer Watts, owner of Zell's Cottage Bakery was named "Best Baker in Georgia" at Cake Clash 2019, a fundraising event to support the Aflac Cancer & Blood Disorder Center at Childrens Healthcare of Atlanta. The competition was held at Maggiano's Buckhead and featured 6 amazing bakers from around the state. Each participant created a themed cake "A duck's day at the pond", a wedding cake, and a tasting cake. Zell's Cottage Bakery placed 3rd in the themed cake category, 2nd in the wedding cake category, 1st in the taste category and was the overall grand prize winner! This stunning black, white and gold cake was featured in Black Bride Magazine. The 4 tier fondant cake is accented with handmade sugar flowers and gold trim.
